This review is long over-due. I got the Eyes Eyes Baby from Fleur & Bee in my very first Kinder Box. I can see why this product is in the favs box because it is easily my favourite eye cream I have ever tried.
It is super moisturizing and does help with the appearance of my under eye circles. It also sits under makeup flawlessly. I use this every morning and night and will for sure be my go to eye cream from now on.
I have honestly heard nothing but great reviews on this cream. I would suggest this to anyone either as a part of a Kinder Box subscription or just to purchase off the website.
My love of this single product actually makes me want to purchase the entire Fleur & Bee Starter Set.
This seems like such a short review but I honestly have nothing bad to say about this product, it is absolutely wonderful.
It may seem like I'm posting two Kinder Beauty Boxes really close together and I am but I got my January box late and my next box actually showed up earlier than usual so I got two boxes in a small amount of time. (I'm not complaining)
Anyway, as always I am here to share what goodies I got and my first impressions of them. So the box I just received is called The Self-Crush Collection. As always I will link to the products.
So this is a hot cocoa drink which is exciting, I haven't tried it yet but plan to soon. It is supposed to also be healthy for you(the website really goes into all the benefits). Its not very often I drink anything but water or tea before bed but I'm definitely willing to give this a try.
I am a huge believer in using sunscreen to protect your skin. I've also got a complexion that will burn in under ten minutes so it is also a necessity in my books. Finding a decent sunscreen that doesn't clog pores can be difficult, this one says it is good to use under makeup so I am eager to try this when the weather warms up.
This item is actually a duo of toothpaste, two flavours, one for morning and one for night. At first thought this seemed strange to me but after trying them I actually understand the idea, especially the night one, the flavour is very subtle and calming rather than being blasted with peppermint right before trying to fall asleep. I would almost classify this as a product I never thought I would need but I may actually switch over permanently once my current stash of toothpaste runs dry.
This is an aromatherapy product and I absolutely love it. As soon as I took it out of the box I rolled some onto my temples as suggested and immediately fell in love. It is also super small which makes it easy to bring along in your purse.
I have a bit of a lipstick addiction so getting a new pretty to add to my collection is always fun. I did try this lipstick on as soon as I got the box and the colour is very pretty and it felt very soft unlike some liquid lipsticks that make your lips feel dry. I didn't really get to test out longevity because I got the box when I came home from work at twenty past nine so I ended up washing it off after about an hour but from what I can tell in that short amount of time it seems like a very nice product.
I've been meaning to get to this review for a while but just haven't found the time. This brand was one I just sort of stumbled upon while buying work clothes. The store I was at happened to have a display of Milani Cosmetics.
I decided to give it a shot, I needed waterproof mascara and concealer so I figured I would give it a shot. The company is cruelty-free and also very affordable, which are both wins.
I was looking for a mascara that would last through both snow and eyes that were watering from the cold and wind and was very pleased with this product. My mascara looked the exact same when I got to work as it did when I left the house, not a single smudge, even on the snowiest days.
I also really liked this mascara in general for how it made my lashes look. They looked fuller and longer while also staying pretty defined. A little also goes a long way, I didn't find I had to keep applying more coats to get my lashes to look amazing.
As for longevity I have to say I was also impressed. No flaking throughout 10 hour workdays. If anything I have trouble getting the mascara off but that isn't something that can't be solved with a good makeup remover.
I have to say I was very impressed and will likely buy this item again.
Concealer
I bought this concealer to help with dark circles under my eyes and I can't say I dislike it but neither can I say that I love it. Part of that could be attributed to the fact that I was a bit off with my colour choice.
I find the concealer does a good job with coverage but can be a bit of a pain to blend but again that could be due to me not getting a good shade match. One thing a did find it did a great job at was when I tried it out as an eyeshadow primer when I ran out. My eyes shadow stayed put without creasing all day.
I think this is a decent concealer but I will probably continue to shop around a bit to see if I can find one I like better, but in the meantime it does the trick.
From the two products I purchased I found the quality to be pretty decent especially for the price. I may in future even branch out and try more products from this company.
Anyone that actually reads this blog knows that I absolutely love my
Kinder Beauty Box. It is the one subscription box that I will forever suggest for everyone. Anyway, I do tend to get my boxes a bit late, likely due to being outside of the US and Ontario being back under lockdown. So, anyone that follows this particular subscription box has likely already seen this box and possibly even the box for the following month.
Regardless, I am posting it anyway because it is my blog and I can do what I want, but also because somebody that isn't subscribed may just stumble onto my page. Kinder Beauty recently switched from giving a physical product card to doing it digitally which is awesome, but onward we must go!
The box I received, which is technically the January box(I know it's March put like I said postal services are incredibly slow especially when crossing borders). So, the box I received was the TLC2021. If you click the hyperlink you can see in great detail everything that I received in it, but I will go over it again in this post and actually use links! (I may be a little trigger happy when it comes to hyper-linking things, in case you haven't noticed.)
As I always do, the first thing I did was sniff this. The scent isn't obnoxiously strong which I like. The scent is also quite pleasant, it sort of reminds me of a cross between fresh linens and baby powder. The packaging is also pretty cool. The lid screws off instead of pulling off, that change probably excites me more that it should, but it just makes it seem more interesting in my head.
This item I have to admit isn't super exciting for me, mostly because I actually have pretty clear skin so it likely won't get used very much. I'm sure it will be nice to have for those rare times that my skin does decided to revolt. And of course I also did a sniff test. I don't dislike the scent but it also isn't anything to get excited about but to be fair it really isn't a product where scent matters.
This one i am quite excited for. The winter is horrible on my skin, it never seems to be able to get enough moisture so hopefully this product will help. The packaging is also really cool because it isn't plastic and therefore will biodegrade much quicker. I also do really like the smell of the salve, which is sort of important when you are putting something on your entire face.
This particular mask is for redness and rosacea which is things that lucky enough to not have problems with. I will still use this mask because I doubt it can hurt and I do love using a face mask every once in a while no matter what kind it is.
I got this eyeliner in Emerald which is awesome because that is actually my favourite colour. I tested it out on the back of my hand and it goes on very smooth. It also isn't a super bright green so it is nice for adding a subtle pop of colour to your look rather than going full drama mode.
This is the last product on the list and I've already drank it. The taste was pleasant enough, the powder disolved completely into the water so it didn't get that gritty texture that some powdered drinks get, so that was nice. I'm not going to lie, I was expecting this to taste horrible so I was actually pleasantly surprised to find that it actually tasted good.
I linked to the full sized version of this product, rather than the sample size that I received. (you can get samples of the website)
I know I'm a few days late posting this but February has been a bit of a hectic month. I ended up getting a full time job so that has made a huge change in my life thus far. I've been quite exhausted as I'm not yet accustomed to 9 hour shifts or 44 hour weeks, but I'm getting there!
Anyway, due to my knew predicament my yearly goals have once again changed. (I know they changed in my last post too) Big changes in life means adjusting your goals to be more reasonable, rather than keeping them the same and pushing yourself too far.
I also realize that I'm a bit late in posting, my goal is at least once per week but with the adjustments I've made to my life things seemed to thrown on the backburner momentarily. I have found a solution to this issue though, on my days off I will queue up posts that will automatically pop up based on a schedule.
Okay, so with my introduction done, I will post my new list of goals:
Keep my blog up to date
Publish short stories in four anthologies
Read ten novels
Only purchase cruelty free cosmetics and personal care products
Okay so now that I have my revised list I will gibe you my updates on each one!
Keep Blog Up-To-Date
I addressed this earlier in my post that my goal for this blog is to post once a week, something that alluded me these past few days. With my new plan to schedule posts I think I will solve this issue from happening again so I'm not going to count that as a complete fail.
I also want to try and get this blog more exposure, I have a few ideas on how to do so but haven't put any into affect yet. One of my ideas is to create a picture with my blog name on it to put on all of my instagram posts. My other primary idea is to change the url of this blog to correlate better with my instagram handle. I will liked put both of these ideas to the test before the end of the month.
Publish Stories in Four Anthologies
So my previous goal was to publish three full-length novels but that seems a bit unrealistic with my new time constraints so instead I will be publishing short stories in four different anthologies this year. The first on is already available. It is called 'Be my Valentine?' and it is published in an anthology by the name of 'The Book of Love'. I've hyper linked the name with the universal url for digital bookstore aside from kindle. It is available on Amazon Kindle but I don't have a universal link for it.
With one anthology down, I have three more to go. The other three anthologies are one that is based on gods and mythology, an LGBT romance, and a Halloween themed book. I have my story written for the LGBT romance but still need to write my stories for the other two.
Read Ten Novels
I'm still only at one(that's where I was last month) but I am currently reading 'Curse of Stone' by Veronica Shade. So far it seems to be quite good and it is also a part of a series so that may quicken my reading progress since I am the type of person to read an entire series of books.
The Book I had already reading was 'A Falsetto of Fury' by Amir Lane and N.J. Ember
Shopping Cruelty-Free
So this one I may or may not have had a minor hiccup on. I received two subscription boxes called BabeBox. The box claimed to be cruelty-free but for some of the items I was unable to find any official certification that they were indeed cruelty-free. For this one I am going to hope that despite their lack of certification that they were true to their word.
In future I will be making sure to check more closely to what I buy. I still have my monthly subscription to Kinder Beauty which I honestly can't praise enough. I also have an order on it's way from Medusa's Makeup, and have recently purchased a couple items from Milani.
I will soon be posting a review on the items from Milani and as soon as I get my package in from Medusa's Makeup I will also be writing a review, I also just got my latest Kinder Beauty Box in the mail so I will be posting about that soon as well.
Anyway, so far I am happy with my year thus far, which is honestly the most important thing. I also think I'm on task with my goals, even if they do keep changing as life goes on. Over-all I am happy with my progress.
This review will be a bit different from my usual review style and the reason for that is the negative reviews I've heard about Babe Box. The first thing you may notice is that I have not hyper-linked the website and that is because I don't want to give easy access to a product I don't endorse.
When I ordered this subscription box it was under a deal to get the first box for free, just pay shipping and handling. Many of the negative reviews mention that you are required to continue your subscription for an additional month. Although this is only stated in the fine print it isn't something I'm going to complain about because to me it seems like a pretty standard deal.
It was only after purchasing the box that I started seeing negative reviews, which this is in part my fault for not doing research before buying. I have no idea what came over me because I am usually the type to read a bunch of reviews before making online purchases, but the only research I did was to see if the box was cruelty-free.
This leads to my biggest complaint, which once again could have been avoided had I done the research before-hand, but the website claims that all of the products in the box are cruelty free. Although every product claims to be cruelty-free, very few of them are actually certified by reliable sources. About half of the items actually say "Made in China" on them, for anyone that doesn't know, China has laws that require cosmetics be tested on animals so I can't see how cosmetics that were made in china could possibly be cruelty free.
Another complaint that I have seen was that the items don't actually cost as much as the box claims so I am actually going to look at this right now as I am writing this review. I didn't hyper-link the subscription box but I will make sure to hyper-link the individual products.
The retail value of this item is listed as $25 USD on both the card and on the website so I have no complaints there. This product doesn't actually claim to be cruelty-free on either the packaging or the website from what I can find. It is made in the USA so there is a chance that it could be but I wouldn't know for sure without further research.
So, this one has me a bit stumped. The retail value on the card is listed as $27 USD but the website has it listed as $134 USD. My best guess is that it is a sample size as it is only 10ml but the image on the website also shows it as being 10ml so I'm really not sure what to say about that. This product however is actually certified as being cruelty-free which is awesome.
This palette is listed on both the card and product website as being $25 USD. It is also properly certified as being cruelty-free. I did some quick swatches of the shades and I must admit they are very pretty.
Once again the retail value is accurate as being $20 USD. The problem with this is that I could not find an indication on the packaging or the website that this product claims to be cruelty-free. This is also one of the items that was made in China so I doubt that it really is cruelty-free.
Babe Cosmetics - 24k Gold Infused Eye
Sorry, no hyper-links on this one. Partially because I don't want to link to the website as I stated up top, also I couldn't find this product listed on the website. the info card lists it as being worth $12 USD which sounds accurate based on the fact that it is a pack of five masks. The website and product claim to be cruelty-free but they don't actually have any legitimate certification, just their word.
This palette is listed at $30 USD on both the info card and on the official website. The product and website claim to be cruelty-free and it has certification but the product also states that it was made in China which is a bit confusing.
First off, I'm not a big fan of this website. It doesn't seem to allow you to buy a single product but instead it bundles products together so if I wanted I would not be able to purchase just this particular product alone, I would have to buy the entire set that comes with a product for every season. The info card lists this item at $44 USD the website lists it at $45 USD which isn't really a big deal. This company is certified as cruelty-free and the products actually look pretty good and have peaked my interest despite my dislike of their shop set-up.
This is the first product so far that actually has a big price gap between what is listen in the box's info card and what the listed retail price is online. The card lists the palette at $38 USD whereas the official website lists the palette at $19 USD. I can usually ignore a gap of a few dollars but this is literally half the price as what the card lists. This company claims to be cruelty-free but I did not notice any proper certification and it is once again one of the items that was made in China.
This item is listed at $21 on both the info card and on the official website. I couldn't find any labels claiming this item to be cruelty-free on either the product or on the official website, it is also one of the items made in China.
So, the website didn't seem to want to let me set it as English or convert to USD despite both being options. The info card values this item at $17 USD. The listed price on the website is 14.90 EUR. At the time if this post that is equivalent to around $18 USD. I'm not sure about the cruelty-free certification as I didn't recognize the logo but I don't really have any reason to dispute the claims.
My Impression
This box isn't as bad as I thought it would be based on the reviews. I don't feel ripped of in the sense that the products aren't worth the price of the box as the retail prices for the most part did coincide with the info card. Most of the reviews I saw were at least a year old so perhaps the company has improved since then.
I however am not happy at the lack of proper certifications for some products. I will use them as I do not believe in wasting items but this is not a box I would suggest to anyone, especially if those people are like me and like to keep things cruelty-free.
I haven't really had a chance to test out any of the items but when I do I will post reviews on some of them.
Hello, folks, I posted a little while back about a short story I had written for an anthology. That anthology is now live and available for purchase!
Be My Valentine?
Val has always hated Valentine’s Day.
But this year things are different, very different.
Working at a café across from a college campus typically means that her Valentine’s Day is filled with immature students turning her name into a pun. Val’s day starts to look up when she meets a handsome professor that seems to have his eyes on her. Not only is he cute, but also incredibly charming.
Her day comes crashing down when she receives a call from her ex-boyfriend, Tony, after almost six years apart. Tony also happens to be the father of her son, Liam. It seems that he suddenly wants to play an active role in his son’s life. To make things worse, Tony has an excuse for his absence, the only problem is that his excuse comes in the form of a five-year prison sentence.
Over the next few days Val is subjected to a whirlwind of emotions as secrets are revealed.
Throughout the years the meaning of Valentines Day has changed dramatically for me. Growing up, you have an innocence about you that teaches you to love everyone on Valentines Day and I find it sad that as you grow that fades.
As a teenager I had the view that Valentines Day was all about romantic love, it was what media seemed to portray and as a youth the media shapes who you are and your beliefs. As great as a romantic connection can be there is also something incredibly toxic about viewing it in higher grace than other forms of love.
Going into adulthood I was introduced to the idea of "Galentines Day" and immediately fell in love with the idea of sharing the day with my female friends. It didn't take long for me to realize that even with this inclusion, there were so many people that still not making the cut.
In recent years I've seen more and more posts about loving yourself above other and I think this might be the most positive message I've seen in relationship to Valentines Day. Self-love, no matter the day is important.
I am a strong believer in putting yourself first. Many can see this as selfish but I have seen first hand the effects of people always putting others before themselves and it is a beautiful thing to see but it isn't sustainable. If you are to truly help others, and be able to continue doing so, you need to first be able to take care of yourself. Otherwise you will burn yourself out or worse. I won't get into the specifics on that statement as I'm sure most people know what self neglect looks like and it is not the focus to this post.
This year I feel like I have been thrown back into the days of my childhood because for the first time in a long time I want to extend my Valentine's wishes to everyone, whether they be friends, family, or complete strangers. Everyone deserves love and I do truly believe that there is no limit on how much love you can give.
With the stresses of covid I am putting a lot of emphasis on spreading love to all of my friends and family that I haven't been able to spend time with this last year. It is sad that it has taken such a tragic event to remind me to love myself and those around me.
With this being said I hope everyone has a fantastic Valentines Day and spreads as much love as they can while also remembering to love themselves.
PS. I realized that I forgot to post a song with my last post so this post you will get two!
I have a new short story that I wrote that is available in The Book of Love. The book of love is a collection of romantic stories by an array of authors. The collection will be available on February 16th but is currently available for Pre Order for only 99 cents!

In my very first post on the blog I made a list of things I wanted to accomplish by the end of the year. Since it is the end of the month I figured I would share with you what my progress is so far. My list was as follows:
* Create a blog
*Release three full length novels
*Read ten novels
*Only buy cruelty-free cosmetics and personal care items
*Get through school with good grades
Looking at this list of goals I realize that I will have to make a few small changes due to recent events. The primary one being about my schooling; do to my mental health I made the decision to not attend school. There were a few contributing factors behind this choice but lets just say that I think I made the right call which is really the most important thing.
Like I stated previously, these goals were more of a template rather than a concrete design. I am aware of how things in life can change and how certain things that you you previously wanted for yourself may become things that you no longer wish to pursue. That is the case as far as schooling was concerned.
Aside from that change, most of my plans are still the same, some with very minor changes that I will get into.
Create a Blog
Obviously, if you are reading this you realize that I have indeed created a blog. My main point on this was not simply the creation of the blog but the upkeep and growth of it as well. As far as upkeep is concerned I wanted to make sure to post something at least once a week. So far I have kept on track with this and over the course of the month this will actually be my 9th post.
Growth on it has been slow, back when I had previously been a blogger I had a decent following but the world and technology along with it have changed tremendously so I find myself trying to figure out a way to get myself noticed. It is one thing to post a link in your Instagram bio or have people share a review of their book but outside of that it can be difficult.
I have joked with my friend about the possibility of me making my way onto YouTube but that is something that in reality I am not quite sure how I feel about. I am a super awkward person and when technology gets involved I end up becoming even more awkward. I'm also not sure what I would even do on video, suggestion was makeup but looking at other videos of people doing makeup and everyone's love of glam and contouring I think I would end up just sort of being a joke.
The other thing I have noticed was that I had intended on making my blog more than just a review blog, that is something that I haven't really been able to do as of yet. I think I need to find inspiration from somewhere on what sort of posts I should make. If anyone is actually reading this and has some suggestions, please do leave a comment.
Release Three Full Length Novels
This goal is still active but slightly altered and also slightly behind schedule but I am hoping to change that around before the end of next month. My goal is still to release three novels this year but I have also added four short stories to my plans.
These short stories are all planned to be a part of multi-author collections. The first will be release in less than a month so I will share more info about that within the next couple of weeks. The first collection is a Valentines theme so I will be writing a meet-cute romance story with a bit of a twist. As I said, I will post more about that at another date.
The other three additions are a LGBT romance story about asexual vampires, a story based on Greek mythology, and some sort of horror or Halloween themed story which I have yet to actually plan out. The LGBT romance is already written so I do not have to worry about that as far as my goals are concerned.
I have plotted out my story for the Greek mythology book. I am planning on basing it off of the story of Apollo tricking Artemis into killing her lover, Orion, out of jealousy. In the original story, Apollo was jealous because he and Artemis had been extremely close and now that she had fallen in love her attention was no longer focused on her twin brother. In my version of events Apollo is going to have fallen for Orion and a feud will break out among the twins over their shared love, which will result in tragedy.
For my three novels, my first one is currently being edited, the second is partially written and awaiting a proper outline(yes I know I'm doing thing out of order), and the third is currently nothing more than a concept. All three stories are to take place in the same universe and I have even considered the possibility of making my unplanned Halloween/horror story a part of the same universe.
I am behind where I wanted to be in editing my first novel but i had given myself plenty of added time knowing I may fall behind so I am still feeling positive about meeting my goals.
Read Ten Novels
I have read one novel already so I am definitely on track for this goal. I would like to not that I am only considering full-length novels as counting(at least 50k words) towards my goal. I read a lot of short stories so it would seem unfair to add those into my count.
I have already written a review for this novel which you can find HERE. I will be reviewing all of the books I read towards this goal and also review other short stories that I read and would like to share. If you are an author and would like to suggest one of your novels to me just leave a comment and I will check it out. Even if you aren't an author but just have a favourite book that you think I would like you can still recommend it to me in the comment. Honestly you can comment anything and I won't care so long as it is not spreading hate.
Cruelty Free Beauty
I have kept 100% true to this goal. In 2021 I have not purchased and beauty products that were not cruelty free. To be fair I have really only been getting beauty products from my Kinder Beauty Box subscription thus far. But I have been absolutely loving everything I do receive so I would definitely recommend that box to anyone that is passionate about beauty products.
I have also decided to no longer purchase any sort of hygiene products or cleaning products that are tested on animals. Basically I am trying to move into buying only cruelty free items when possible. I'm really not sure what to further say on this matter as it is something I am dropping rather than leaving from my life.
Overall I am pretty happy with my progress on my goals. There is one thing that completely slipped my mind when making my original goals and I honestly wasn't sure if it was something that I should list as it is something that was already started but I will be officially one year sober come March 15th. I will likely make a celebration post about that particular feat when the date comes. I also have planned to launch my first full length novel on that very same day as a sort of celebration.
most recent Kind Beauty Box. This product didn't disappoint. The mint was super refreshing for the morning and the scrub did a great job of removing and dead or dry skin.
My skin was left feeling smooth and as usual when my skin is freshly exfoliated it made my tattoos appear brighter, but as I said that happens whenever I exfoliate. It also allowed the body butter I used after my shower to soak in super quick so I was left with moisturized skin without the feeling of having a heavy butter layered on top.
My only two complaints about this product is that the mint scented scrub is not available on the Dirty Lamb website so I will have to purchase the regular coffee scrub in the future. The only other complaint was that my tub was left with coffee grinds. The tub issue is such an easy fix that it barely counts as a down-side, especially since I typically have to do an immediate cleaning after using most bath bombs.
I will definitely be making future purchases from Dirty Lamb in including the coffee scrub. I have now tried two products from them and loved them both so I have high hopes for anything I try from them in the future.
I promised reviews almost a week ago but like got in the way a bit but alas I have returned with a review of the Anti-Pollution Sleeping Mask by {Save}.
I was at first unsure about trying this because I don't like the feeling of anything heavy on my face and didn't think I would get through an entire night with my skin feeling as if it had a heavy moisturizer on it.
When I first applied the product it didn't immediately soak into the skin like most serums and regular moisturizers would so I felt as if my worries were accurate. Luckily, it did soak into my skin completely so by the time I was actually ready for sleep.
I wasn't actually timing how long it took for it to soak in but I would estimate about a half hour.
In the morning I had to admit that my skin did feel really soft but I did get the feeling of immediately wanting to wash it off my face. As washing my face is typically the first thing I do in the morning that didn't bother me too much.
The first time I used it I put it on my skin directly after washing it, the second time I used a Vitamin C serum from a separate brand before applying the mask. I find that the serum in question can sometimes make my skin feel tight or even dry so using the mask on top actually made a good combination.
I would say that I do like this product but it wasn't really a favourite of mine, but that could simply be my own preference for not using heavy creams on my face for long periods of time. The way my skin felt after washing it was great and I will continue to use this product about twice a week as suggested but I don't think it likely that I will purchase this product in the future.
Today I received my Kinder Beauty Box and naturally the first thing I did was take pictures! As I just got it today I haven't had a chance to try any of the products yet but there are definitely a few things that I'm excited to try.
The scrub linked isn't the exact one that is linked. The one I received was a Mint Coffee Scrub but I couldn't find it on the website. I am excited for this product because honestly who doesn't love a a body scrub? Also, after testing out Dirty Lamb's Ultra Night Serum from last month's box I have high hopes that I will love this products just as much as the Serum.
I actually intend on using this product tonight so hopefully I will have a review soon. I have to admit that I am sort of neutral on this product simply because I've never heard of the brand and I've never really used more than serums and moisturizers at night so I will be going in blind with this product. Hopefully it will end up being something that I end up loving.
Kinder Beauty: 2 Eyeshadow Brush Set
From what I could find on the website I don't think you can buy just these brushes. As they are made by Kinder Beauty they likely have to be bought with one of the January boxes. I can't make a promise as to when I next do my makeup so I can't really make a promise as to when I put these brushes to the test. I do however like that they are black because with my current set I find that no matter how thoroughly I was them they are never going to return to their original white bristles.
So this one I did test a bit on the back of my hand. It is sort of a primer and illuminator cream. It is super soft and it shows up as a very subtle shimmer. I'm not sure if shimmer is really the correct term but it does a nice job of reflecting light just enough to cause the skin to look radiant but far from leaving you looking like Edward Cullen.
From what I can tell just using it on the back of my hand I am very happy with it and can't wait to actually use it on my face.
First off I want to talk about the packaging. It came in a super shiny and vibrant box which is a huge plus when it comes to me but even the actual pot itself is really cute. So, good job on the packaging!
Anyway, the shade I got was called Dance Party. It is a sort of shimmery grey colour. Like the Perfecting Potion I tested this out on the back of my hand. The pigment seems good and I can tell just from putting it on my hand that it is going to blend easily. I will likely use this eyeshadow the next time I do my makeup because lets face it, when ever I get new makeup I always want to test it ASAP.
